How do Columbus customers know the Hyundai Kona is special? Take a peek at this subcompact SUV's multiple best buy awards in the past few years. With refreshed styling, improved technology and safety features, and an updated interior, we're confident it'll be love at first sight when you test drive a new Hyundai Kona from Hyundai of Columbus.
Interior & Exterior Features
The new Hyundai Kona adds half-inch of rear legroom, and in a subcompact SUV, every inch counts. Columbus families can enjoy 19.2 cubic feet of cargo volume, which expands to 45.8 cubic feet with the seat area. A new modern dash, circular air vents, and a 60/40 split-folding rear seatback highlight the Kona's cabin, which also offers available ambient interior lighting.
The all-new N Line trim adds N Line Sport seats and 18-inch N Line alloy wheels, while the top trim, the Kona Limited, offers leather-trimmed seats. The Hyundai Kona's now longer body has a stretched hood, bold cladding and headlights that are separated from daytime running lights.

Performance
Base and SEL Hyundai Kona SUV models are powered by a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The Hyundai Kona's fuel economy ratings of 30/35 (city/highway) prove useful to Columbus drivers hoping to save money at the pump. There are now 20 additional ponies in the 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that powers the top two trims. With 195 horsepower, 195 pound-feet of torque, and a strengthened rear suspension, the Hyundai Kona N-Line and Limited models have solid performance capabilities.
A special edition Hyundai Kona N performance model introduces itself and is set to join the four main trims soon, offering 276 horsepower and 289 pound-feet of torque with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine.
Tech & Safety
Enjoy standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ that's paired with an 8-inch color touchscreen. The Bluelink® Connected Car System and a Proximity Key with push button start enter on the Kona's second trim, the SEL.
You can upgrade to a larger 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with navigation Dynamic Voice Recognition on the top trim, while the top two trims each feature a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. An 8-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system comes with the Kona Limited.
